What is the difference between using the liquid or powdered Germall

Plus? Is it just personal preference or is one easier for a particular

application?...Donna

Measuring and weighing. If you have an accurate scale and a bit of

experience working with the tiny amounts of powdered Germall Plus the

powdered is fine. If your scale only weighs to a tenth of a gram and

you are a home crafter, liquid germall plus is a better choice because

it will be easier to weigh and there is less of a chance of over

preserving. I use powder when I work, I make large batches and have a

special scale for weighing preservatives that goes to 1000th of a

gram. I teach classes, and I use liquid in classes because my students

are novices and working on scales that cost less than $50, so they are

not able to measure 1000th of a gram.

Hi,

Not sure if this got answered because I'm not getting many of the posts from

the list. I am just now getting some of the messages from Saturday!!

Anyway, they are the same except that the liquid is made into a liquid using

propylene glycol I believe. The powder is just the 2 anti microbial agents

used. I think it's a preference thing as far as which to use.
