Hi Mary,

I can't agree with this statement more!!! Whether its buying Essential

Oils, Medicinal Herbs or even garden plants - KNOW THEIR REAL FULL NAME!

Think of common plant names as nicknames. If you're looking for me in

the phone book and just try to find " Chris " .. well, good luck *lol*

DANG! You go Nature Woman. I know whose toasty warm and bright cave I'd

be hanging out in of we were back in prehistoric days.<grinz> I'm

excited that I know the steel wool and 9 volt battery trick to start a

fire in the middle of nowhere! Rubbing sticks is so Rae Dawn Chong in

" Quest For Fire " to me! *lol*

Shoot, I grew up as such a city kid that I'd never even gone camping

till I was in my adult teens. For the record I did know all my native

New York City flora and fauna. I could name every street tree & weed in

the sidewalk cracks. I could even recognize dog turds AND tell you if

they were fresh or old - Yep, I was a real tracker in my urban jungle

*lol* ;)

I always save some dryer lint when I know we're going camping - makes a great

fire starter. Just put some kindling wood over it and light. I like to rub a

stick to start a fire - a match stick :)

Paula .......... in Michigan

I used to have super powers but my therapist took them away
