Guest guest
Hi All, Didn't I see a link for a recipe and/or instructions on making rose petal jam at the bottom of the digest a while back? Maybe I am just losing my mind.... If it was, it is not there now. Does someone have a recipe for rose petal jam? I have made rose petal jelly in the past (infused into white grape juice), but I would like to try some jam. Thanks in advance! Guest guest
Thanks a bunch! I can't wait to try it. Is there a reason I could not use a " dutch oven " to make this in, like I do with other jams? Other than a skillet, I don't think I have a (sauce)pan wide but short. Guest guest
Another Rose Jam recipe Hi Folks, I personally love Indian-style rose Jam which is just rose petals layered with sugar, put in a covered glass jar in the sun. I was also informed if you want this to be thinner you can put netting over the top of the jar to let water evaporate and keep the bugs out. I tried it with some organic rose petals in a covered glass jar in the hot sun for 4 days and I liked the results. Good luck and happy tasting!
