Guest guest
Well, the Guild is almost one month old, and we already have 50 members, and I'll admit, I'm overjoyed by the wonderful people flowing in, and the general spirit and sense of camaraderie among everyone. The perfumers, suppliers, associates and enthusiasts are all devoted to the natural aromatics that form the foundation of our businesses. We are focused on furthering the recognition of natural perfumery through professional standards, education, mentoring and business development. Our enthusiasts are mostly perfumers who haven't launched their business yet. Through the Guild they are able to get great discounts from suppliers and chat with the professional perfumers on our . Our first newsletter has been published, and the second is in the works, along with a public relations campaign that will bring natural perfumery to the next level - the print media. Both local and national publications are on our contact list, and we'll move forward with that in the Fall. If you're considering natural perfumery as an aspect of your business, perhaps you're going to launch a spa line, or have dreams of a store of your own selling lovely perfumes, consider joining the Guild. Our major requirement is that you use only natural aromatics, no synthetics. The list of perfumers is amazing, too. Note we've added a new category: Associate. This is for those who produce body care products, spa lines and toiletries that use only natural aromatics, but who do not produce a " perfume " . Renaissance Aromas, for instance, is a source of high quality wet or dry potpourris, made with classical techniques. In the past month, I realized that several applicants were asking for perfumer status because their products were scented, yet there was no " niche " for them. There is now, so come on in! http://artisannaturalperfumers.com The Artisan Natural Perfumers Guild http://naturalperfumery.com The premier site on Natural Perfume Biggest, most dynamic natural perfumery chat group
