Apothecary Keeper Update!

This will be posted in a couple lists, so I apologize if yo usee this

in more than one place, I'm just very excited about it.

 

I will be working on an update for AK1 very soon, to add some fileds

and fix a few minor bugs. I'll let everyoine know when that version is

available (V1.1. Just to note, Registered users will recieve a free

copy of this automatically. As soon as it is available, it will be

the normal " sale " version.

 

Now, for the really GREAT news! My day job (yes, I have one of those

too...LOL) has decided to fund a portion of Apothecary Keeper 2.0! We

have a sister company that is a cosmetics lab (skincare products like

moisturizers, etc.) and they want Apothecary Keeper 2.0, or

significant portions of it, anyway. They have decided to let me spend

some time working on it during company time, as a yay to " back " the

project and help speed it's production along. They will also be " Test

Subject #1 " as it were, procviding real world stress testing of tghe

application and it's useability.

 

Because they are backing the project, they have a few requirements for

the project that will significantly improve the application even

further than origionally planned. Because I get to work on it during

the day (not constantly...darn it! LOL!) I will be able to get this

product out sooner.

 

Unfortunately, I don't know how soon that is. My original estimate was

Winter of 2006, but then the project grew exponentially, and my last

estimate was Winter 2007. With the new requirements, I have to add

time, but with being able to work on it occasionally diring the day, I

get to shorten the time. But I don't know by how much...LOL It will be

a better project though, as many of it's features will be tested along

the way now. Plus, there will be the beta testers once it is approved

here.
