Guest guest
don't know if this will work for you or not but setting out bowls of white vinegar clears the air of cigarette smoke. Don't know if it'll help the amount of smoke you're talking about. Paula .......... in Michigan I used to have super powers but my therapist took them away Forgot to ask in my last email. Any oils anyone would recommend to clean the air? The fire in my house (explained in the last email) just happened this afternoon. And the firemen used windblowers at each end of the house to blow the smoke out, but it still smells like smoke. Not sure how long it will smell like this. The insurance adjuster will not be hear until next week. Am probably going to spend the night at a friends house tonight. But was wondering if there are any essential oils that will get rid of the odor? Something that I can burn (without burning the house down...this time!!) in an aroma lamp or spray to " neutralize " it? --Daphne
Guest guest
Several years ago I too had a kitchen fire. Was telling a networking group about it and in the group was a man that sold EqoQuest (sp?) air purifiers. He loaned me one for 3 days, and it pulled all the smoke smell out of the house, and even pulled out the scents on a couple of batches of soaps . Do a Google on EqoQuest, not sure how to spell it so try variations. See if there is a distributer in your area. Tell him of your problem, and see if he will let you demo one in your home for several days. That is the best suggestion I have. Anita .
