Ok, this question is for Current Apothecary Keeper users and for those

who are holding out untill V2 becomes available (yess, all you MAC

users...hehe!)

AK2 is going to be a VERY feature rich version. I'm roughly 25% done

with writing it, and then it has to be beta tested and modified if any

bugs are found. I've already go over $1200.00 worth of time invested

into it, meaning it is likely that time cost alone will likely excede

$5000.00 in R & D. The current version is $40.00, but looking at the #

of sales on version 1 so far, there is NO way that AK2 will pay for

it's R & D at $40.00 a copy, ever.

So, I am proposing 2 versions...Apothecary Keeper " Home " Edition, for

aroud $40 to $60, and Apothecary Keeper " Professional " for around $120.

" Home " would have the same modules as AK1...Inventory, Formulas (was

Recipies) and Vendors (was Contacts), plus a couple more; most notably

Stock, Purchase Orders, and Vendor Catalogs.

Professional would include Invoices, Sales Reciepts, and Customers,

plus all modules in the " Home " version.

Or, should only one version be available, at $120 for everyone?

(Upgraders from AK1 get AK2 at 50% off)just to note, it will do

everything AK1 does, plus it will show foprmula percentages, keep

inventory AND stock, manage customers, vendors, etc. It will generate

batch spec sheets, Certificates of Analasys, and more.

If we could have a bit of discussion on this, it would greatly help me

out! Then, with Chris's permission, I'll post a Poll to get a count on

what I should do.

Thanks you everyone for your help!

Be well,

Andrew Robertson
