Hi Chris and members.

I know I haven't been active on the list for sometime now. Do have a question

on how to get rid of ants. My daughter is having problems with the little

buggers. I know there was something circulating about what to use, but darned

if I can remember ('intellectual overload'). Would certainly appreciate any

advice.

Also, Chris, I tried to get to the web site but was informed I was not a member.

What do I need to do? Thanks.

Blessings and love,

Effie

Hi Effie,

I use Peppermint EO--I wipe some along where the paths they use are,

and I put a cotton ball soaked in it in corners along their pathways

too. They clear up pretty quick.

And this really works. Keep a bottle of peppermint on my kitchen counter for

this very thing.

Thanks a bunch for the information. I did tell my daughter I thought it was

peppermint but wasn't sure. Sure appreciate your answer.

Hi There,

I haven't been on the list in a while, but I have heard that powder

cinnamon works rather well deterring ants. It also might be a little

more affordable than peppermint oil (but not as clean).

peppermint plants out the door or window where the ants are coming in will work

just as good as peppermint EO and much less $$

For ants in the house

Try Aspartame It is magic. First designed as an ant killer, aspartame became

sweetener because like this it can make mor profit...

Its Fantastic as ant killer though

Never taste it it's ant poison. (lol)

About lemon balm

You could make a nice infused oil too.

I make oils of any spare herbs I produce. They are pretty good as actives in

cosmetology.
