Guest guest
Hi Folks, Since announcing the Awapuhi Pre-Buy I've been getting a LOT of inquiries about recipes for Awapuhi Shampoo and Conditioner recipes, so here goes ... a basic Olive & Awapuhi Natural Liquid Shampoo recipe, made with a base of my Pure Olive Liquid Soap Paste. This shampoo makes my kiddos hair very soft and very shiny. I use lavender hydrosol and EO only because I give them baths before bed and it helps calm them. If you prefer to, you can use a different hydrosol, or distilled water, and the EO of your choosing. *Smile* Chris Natural Awapuhi Extract, Unrefined Rose Hip Seed Oil Traditional Pressed Certified Organic Virgin Coconut Oil Pre-Buy Special - TWO WEEKS ONLY! http://www.alittleolfactory.com/prebuys.htm ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I used % so that you can make the batch as large or small as you want to! Olive & Awapuhi Natural Liquid Shampoo 35% Pure Olive Soap Paste 50% Lavender Hydrosol 1.5% Jojoba or Green Tea Seed Oil 5% Awapuhi 5% Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein 2% High Altitude French Lavender EO to scent ..5% Pantenol ..5% Vitamin E ..5% * Preservative (optional) *(the usage amount may vary depending on the preservative you choose - use according to manufacturers' suggestion) Combine the liquid soap paste and hydrosol. Let the paste liquefy. Add remaining ingredients. Mix well (gently agitating in a bottle works just fine - just don't shake hard and make it foam up). Enjoy! While this shampoo is very gentle, keep out of eyes, this is NOT a " no tears " formula
