Guest guest
OK, just got back from the MD's office for my annual that has been 3 years since I had gone<G>. He wants to send me to a specialist because I have some swelling underneath my left arm in my armpit area. I had noticed this a couple of weeks ago and told him about it. He says he's not sure whether it is anything to be concerned about, or whether is is just fat cells/tissue, but wants me to go get it checked out, which I will, but would like to know in the meantime if there are some oils, herbs, etc. that help detox the lymph nodes. Any help on this would be appreciated. I read online that bay laurel would help, but is thatthe eo and if so is that applied (in carrier oil, of coarse) or sniffed, or both; or is it the leaf(herb)? Guest guest
Anita, Have you or your husband been exposed to any illnesses lately? If so that could be it.. Mind you I'm not a DR so I'm not diagnosing you. You can do massage around your arm to help speed up the healing process (I'd wait until I found out exactly what it is before starting anything.). Start at the fingers and move upwards towards the body. You can also raise your arm while doing this, or you could just come over to my house and I can show you how.. I'm sure that your Doc is doing the right thing, it could be a myriad of things.. The simplest being an illness that didn't show up other than the swollen lymphnode, and the worse being cancer, but there's a lot of stuff in between the two that it could be and the best thing to do is to wait. Also if you know anything about reflexology.. That can help too... I ll get my resources and send them directly to you.. The results can be amazing... Remembering one client who wrote me she had had mono, left her with swollen glands in her throat for months. She applied some cistus... she said that for about 48 hours she felt really sick... I think detoxing the junk that was trapped in the lymph glands... but the swelling was gone and never came back... I've seen it work (along with lymphatic drainage massage, of course!) in cases of lymphedema... it's truly amazing stuff.
