Guest guest
Hi filizaydogdu(?), I'm glad you like it here. Glad to have you aboard! Now, on to your questions ..... Corsican Helichrysum italicum Essential Oil diluted properly in Rose Hip Seed Oil (especially the unrefined variety) has been successfully used by many folks to help diminish the appearance and aid in the fading of scars, including stretch marks. I have found that Green Tea Seed Oil makes a nice base for a light facial and eye moisturizer. As far as cellulite goes, I've always heard is partially hereditary, and that exercising is one of the only ways to keep cellulite fat in check, but I've also more recently heard that the more stressed one's liver is, the worse their cellulite is likely to be. So it would seem that the keys to having sexy, non-dimpled legs and rump cheeks are eating well, exercising and nurturing thy liver *Smile* Chris (list mom) Natural Awapuhi Extract, Unrefined Rose Hip Seed Oil Traditional Pressed Certified Organic Virgin Coconut Oil Pre-Buy Special - LAST WEEK TO ORDER! http://www.alittleolfactory.com/prebuys.htm filizaydogdu hi, i am glad to be a member of this wonderful group. i have learnt too much so far. i guess there is smt. missing ) i looked up in the files section but i couldn't find information about the subjects i mostly wonder about and care for. 1) how can we get rid of stretch marks? i have some stretch marks around belly and behind legs. i got these in my teens. now i am 26. they are white and thin. not very deep and very noticable but they disturb me. 2) i need an eye contour cream against fine lines caused by dryness. 3) i have very little, unremarkable cellulites. they appear when i squeeze my skin. can these be demolished? and if yes, how? i want to thank every one already! Guest guest
Hey, filizaydogdu One way of getting that cellulite to lessen in appearance is make sure you re drinking enough water, and if it really bugs you that bad... If it's only a little... And it doesn't bother you why worry about it.. You can have a massage therapist work on those areas. I also have a friend. If I can find her email, who has a cellulite wrap. (it's like a Seaweed wrap if you've had one.) It doesn't " get rid " of it, but it keeps the circulation in the area at a prime, the better the circulation, the better you look and feel. The more water you retain... The more the cellulite look will happen (low circulation + other factors helps with adding to the orange peel look). I know from experience that increasing circulation to the area has major benefits.. IE lymph massage, trigger point therapy.. (when I was in Massage school even though I was over weight I had very little cellulite because I was getting massage every weekend.) Jennifer And Chris is right. The liver helps detox the body so doing things good for your liver can help too (did you know laughter massages the liver..) ---- Christine Ziegler 08/15/06 22:06:20 RE: stretch marks, eye contour and cellulites Hi filizaydogdu(?), I'm glad you like it here. It was the only product I've ever used that really produced a visual difference. Susan H.
Guest guest
Hi folks, When I was in Occupational Therapy Assistant training, cocoa butter was mentioned as having a strongly measurable effect on scar tissue when used in conjunction with scar massage (stretch marks count as scars for this purpose). The lotion or cream only needs 'some' cocoa butter in it so I am sure everyone can think of some very beneficial additives. For scar massage you rub firmly across the scar. I would NOT try scar massage on face especially around eyes or in any other exceptionally delicate area without further instruction from someone with more experience than I have. Hope this was helpful, Carol Griggs
Guest guest
I used a lotion with cocoa butter both times I was pregnant and I don't have a single stretch mark -- not one. Susan H. Guest guest
I wish that worked for everyone. I massaged until I was blue in the face with cocoa butter. Unfortunately my family carries the high androgen gene, which in turn leaves one with stretch marks galore. Testosterone, and aldosterone impede collagen production, and collagen helps elasticity in the skin. If your mom and her mom and your grandma on your dad's side got stretch marks there is a high probability that you will get them, but that doesn't mean you can't fade em... Heliochrysm and some of the other scar reducing oils help immensely... Oh and one of the ingredients in Mederma.. (scar/fade cream) Onion oil.
