Hi, thanks to all who wrote with their suggestions, I did find a wonderful

chocolate cheesecake ( that's the boyfriends fav) on a web site for a

whopping $60, lol, that's a little too much for my wallet. It did make me

aware of the lack of finished products for people with diabetics and It is

something I will look into further.

Ien, I will look into that chocolate that you mentioned, It sounds

interesting and yummy at the same time.

Leann, thanks for your suggestion, I think My BF Ted is also type 1, he was

only diagnosed 3 years ago and the poor guy misses his chocolate bars.

Deb, I ran out and bought him some sugar free candies, they seemed to help

but he wants his cheesecake, lol. Thanks for the warning about the shakes,

lol.

The kids just went back to school yesterday and boy am I unorganized, the

kids have been used to going to bed late, so its very hard to get them up in

the morning. I have decided to fall clean the house and have started on the

basement, what a dusty messy job that is. I found a bug down there the other

day and it was one of those scurrying types, so I am kinda freaked out from

it and feel the need to clean out all the nooks and crannies to make sure

that there isn't anymore where that one came from.

We were lucky enough to be given use of a cottage on a lake for a week and

we had a blast, it was peaceful and just what I needed. It was such a

wonderful trip that we have planned another getaway for the weekend of the

14th-15th, where we will have a 2 acre pond to canoe in and 200 acres of

forest to wander in and get lost.

I have posted a few pics in the photo section under Carol's Mutt, if anyone

wants to take a gander. In the picture of my son and BF on the canoe, way in

the back ground you can see a small beach with a Canadian flag, that is

where we were staying.

Ok, back to reality now, back to cleaning, later all..

Also consider Splenda for chocolate goodies. I use it a lot. Now, I know it

isn't natural, but it works really well. A natural sweetener worth

considering is Stevia. I haven't tried it myself, so I can't personally

recommend it, but it scares the sugar industry enough that manufacturer's

aren't legally allowed to call it a " sweetener. " :)

Wonder if Carob would fit the bill? It tastes VERY MUCH like Chocolate

Butch,

Carob is OK if you merely expect something

brown and moderately sweet.

But it should NOT be allowed to pretend it

is the Food of the Gods, Theobroma Cacao.

It just doesn't do it.

Rats. Now I am craving ChocaMaca and I swore

I would leave the last bottles for presents...
