Pipettes~Sterile or Not? What's a gal to do???

Hi Folks:

 

Just wanted some input on a new box of 500 pipettes that we bought. Altho they

are wrapped much better than the last box we bought. They say non-sterile on

the bag they are packaged in. Hmmmmmm

 

Questions:

 

Are all pipettes non-serile?

 

Have you thought about it?

 

If they are all non-sterile, how do you go about sterilizing them?

 

Do you use glass ones only?

 

What's a gal to do?

If you are purchasing through a medical supply house, they should have

an individually wrapped sterile product available. They will be more

expensive and are designed for single use.

Have you thought about using Alcohol to sterilize them, cause I'm guessing

they'd probably melt if you boiled them...
