Guest guest
Hi Stephanie, (snipped) > I am hoping some of you have some ideas for oils that might help > a dear friend of mine who is undergoing her second bout of cancer > (metastasized, in her lungs now) and is experiencing deep grief > over the possibility she won't survive this. I wish the best for your friend. > She is getting an experimental chemo and the physical side effects > aren't too bad. There are many published in-vivo and in-vitro studies using natural products to cure cancers .. such studies have been around for many years. If your friend should decide to try an alternative treatment (other than administration through the olfactory system), she should first discuss it with her physician. > I sent her home today with a diffuser, some melissa and bergamot, > and lent her Mojay's book and Robbie Zeck's book so she can pick > out some other oils or blends she might like to try for their > emotional effects. Good .. many oils will provide therapeutic emotional/psychological gain. Rose Otto immediately comes to mind .. as does Neroli and Jasmine. > I would be grateful if anyone has experience with oils used in > this situation. I'm only going to have her diffuse -- not apply > any oils to the skin. The Origanums (specifically, the active ingredient Carvacrol) have shown positive results in labs against skin cancers and internal tumors. I'll present some info on that (next post) that I sent to this list and others back in 2001 .. but the info I'll provide is NOT a recommendation or suggestion that others use the product. I would use it in a heart beat .. but I'm not qualified to recommend others do the same. > Thank you all in advance -- > Warm regards, > Stephanie Spak Welcome you are. I hope your friend overcomes the problems. Y'all keep smiling. :-) Butch http://www.AV-AT.com
