Guest guest
Hi y'all, Many thanks .. and I move down the list of posts sent recently. > Butch! Lake Barkey is " the " fishing haven!!!! Find ya a hill > and a holler and move on in! ) Barkley is a great one fer'shur. For some reason .. Barkley is not listed on the TVA Reservoir site .. I'm thinking that the reason is they are considering it to be an extension of Kentucky Lake .. that would make sense .. http://www.tva.gov/sites/sites_ie2.htm The most important thing to consider when settling on a large body of inland water is .. is it safe to swim .. and safe to eat the fish. Folks can check the " health " of various reservoirs at this URL http://www.tva.gov/environment/ecohealth/index.htm > Great to have you back " in the game " and that you had a good > trip. Yall get some rest... > > Birdie... from good ole Bon Aqua Thankee ma'am .. still getting lots of rest but at the wrong time. Hit the sack at 4 this morning and woke up at noon today. But .. I am doing ALL of the wrong things needed to overcome Jet Lag. ;-) > Welcome back Butch > Vickie > > Tierra De Cabros Goat Milk Bath Products > Swaim Family Farm > Gladys (Vickie) Swaim > http://tierradecabros.com Thankee ma'am .. appreciated it is. :-) > Welcome home, Butch, and Family. Glad you made it back safe. > > Christy And thanks to you .. sorry you couldn't make the AT Shindig in Albuquerque. This time, my room was not the bar .. the bar was a gazebo in the middle of the quadrangle we stayed in. I was surprised to see that those who showed up nightly actually enjoyed Raki. Told'em from the gitgo they would either love it or hate it .. but amazingly, every dang one'a them wimmens loved it. But .. it is Aromatherapy in a big way .. co-distilled Grapes and Anise Seed. The Turkish nickname for Raki is Lion's Milk. One reason is .. its clear till you mix it with water .. then it becomes milky. The other reason is .. when we start out drinking it we roar like a Lion .. after a few glasses, we bray like a Donkey. ;-) > Beautiful baby, he has his mother's eyebrows. > > Ieneke van Houte Thankee ma'am .. and he's as sweet as he is beautiful. He has Mama's hair too I reckon cause I don't have any. Little rascal has already had two GI haircuts. First time we tried to run the clippers over his head he let out a whoop. So I played with them a bit .. he was watching like a hawk. Then while Tanya held him in one arm, I leaned over the sink and she did a GI cut on me. Alexander watched this and the little rascal decided that if it was OK for Daddy .. it was OK for him. After that he let me cut his hair .. can't say he liked it .. just reluctantly accepted it. ;-) > Butch and family, > > It sounds like you had an absolutely wonderful trip. Your little > munchkin is certainly a charmer. What a smile.....if that couldn't > melt a heart of ice I don't know what would. > > Evelyn > www.alternasense.com Thankee ma'am .. on all counts. Actually, we did run into a couple of witches on the trip who were perpetually disgruntled .. would have cracked their faces to smile. Both were United Airlines attendants. More on that later .. I'll later tell y'all just how bad United is .. and has been for a long time. American airlines are sucking hind tit when compared with ALL the European airlines .. especially Lufthansa. Y'all have a good one .. and keep smiling. :-) Butch
