Hi

I just ordered my normal herbal horse wormers for my 2 old boys and

suddenly thought my friends on O & H might like to know about Verm-X...

they have a versions for dogs, cats and even poultry....

So here you go..

http://www.verm-x.com/

And yes - I have worm counts done - and it works.

And no - I have no connection at all to the company.

Hi Sandy

This is the page they have the herbs (or some of them) listed.

http://www.verm-x.com/herbs.htm I agree it was hard to find! I doubt

this is the full list of ingredients though as its not likely they

would put the whole formula on line...

My 2 horses have been great on this for the last 3(?)years BUT they

have their own field and don't share pasture with others who may pass

on *the unwanted* to them. I also pick up dropping from the field

everyday so that stays clear as well.

Not used the cat one yet - looks a bit messy having to give a *treat*

every day, especially as my cat is Miss-fuss-pot-of-the-year with

anything you try to give her!

Liz,

Thanks for the page.... none of those herbs are specific to worms. They

must

put wormwood in it along with black walnut and possibly clove....all are

specific

herbs to parasites. I'd love to get a full list of the herbs just to

see what in the

heck really is in it.

It must be very expensive to import from the UK or do you live there?

I use diatomaceous earth to worm my horse. Have been

doing it this way since we got him 7 years ago. He has never shown with

worms.

It is easier to use and much less expensive.
