Guest guest
If you are using glue traps for outdoor rodent abatement, remember to pick them up during the day and only set them out at night. Otherwise, you may inadvertantly trap birds instead of mice ( I had glue traps outside and by day I only left in place the ones that I thought were well-concealed from the bird population. Wrong. Today, one overly inquisitive feathered friend managed to get caught. I freed him using vegetable oil but he has a broken wing and foot and has lost a lot of down. I am doing what I can for him. I feel absolutely awful about this. Meanwhile, the peppermint EO is holding steady--no new signs of mouse activity in the house. jaime,CA...exuding guilt and a strong minty scent
