Guest guest
I can't take OTC vitamins, they upset my system. A few people have recommended " natural " vitamins, but for goodness sakes, they're so expensive -- as much as $100 a month! What do you folks take? I try to eat well, lots of fresh vegs and fruits, limited fat and almost no sugar. I also take Calcium supplements already and they don't bother me -- it's just the multivitamins that tear up my system. Susan H.
Guest guest
If someone has a mixed diet of foods drawn from a wide geographical area, and is not suffering from a mal absorption syndrome, then vitamin supplements are unecessary. The vast majority of claims made for these supplements are NOT based on sound research but on heavy marketing hype that has been accepted as facts. I am one of those who believe that if you cannot possibly get the volumes of nutrients in these supplements via a good diet, then no way can they be considered as " natural " even if the vitamin is extracted from a natural source. In my eyes they should be treated as drugs with appropriate trials. So I suggest you spend your Dollars on a wide variety of good quality fruits, vegetables and food herbs and you will get all you need.
