Rose Hydrosol Shipments

Hi y'all .. especially those who are waiting for their orders.

 

I'm finally coming up for a breath of air and can take the time to make

a post. ;-)

 

My 400 kilo order of Turkish Rose Hydrosol finally arrived at our store

late Thursday afternoon. It was shipped overland from Baltimore. :-)

 

The hold up in Customs was comical .. the Freight Forwarder/Clearance

Agency I have used since 1999 (Schenkers) is the star clown! They

couldn't decide whether to process the order as a pharmaceutical grade

product or as a cosmetics grade product. Its not like this was the

first shipment of Hydrosols we have ever made .. its perhaps the 20th

shipment .. and maybe the 15th from Turkey .. and I've not yet learned

why they had their heads where the sun doesn't shine. In any case, it

took a three way conference call between them and Margaret (my manager

in Maryland) and the FDA to get it cleared! :-(

 

They must have had some newbies on board .. but I am not inclined to

accept people getting On-The-Job Training on my time and at my expense

when I am paying them for a professional service. Good Lawd Willing

they have learned something from this!!

 

In any case .. the purpose of this post is to explain the status of your

orders. We have over 120 orders for Rose Hydrosol .. maybe 70% or so of

those orders are from folks on this list.

 

It is our policy and norm to ship orders within 24 hours of payment ..

though for some of those monstrous ones it takes 48 hours because an

entire day is spent just pouring and packaging some large orders. But

for this Hydrosol sale .. 24 or even 48 hours might not be possible.

 

As stated above, the Rose Hydrosol came in late Thursday evening .. and

it is in barrels. On Friday morning, my folks began filtering (see note

below), pouring and packaging the orders. They were able to ship SOME

of the US Postal Orders on Friday - but NONE of the FedEx Ground orders

because FedEx Ground comes to visit us early each morning .. and when

they came early on Friday morning the Hydrosols were not yet filtered,

poured, boxed and ready for turn over to FedEx.

 

I have prepared a list of who made orders when .. and when the order was

paid. Orders will be shipped in accordance with that list .. and ALL of

the orders will be shipped next week .. I think we will be able to get

them all out by Wednesday .. so please be patient and save yourself and

me time by not asking me the status of your order. ;-)

 

However, IF .. you have not received notification of the shipping cost

of your order .. all notifications have been sent .. that will mean that

a Cyber Monster ate your email .. then please do notify me and I will

again send you a copy of that notification.

 

And .. IF .. you have not paid for the order .. please notify me IF you

want to receive the order.

 

Note above .. reference filtering the Hydrosols. During my lifetime I

have heard some wild tales .. I have heard folks tell tales about when

they served in combat, and when they were paratroopers or SCUBA Divers,

etc. When one has such real life experiences it takes them but a few

seconds to know who is telling the truth and who is regurgitating crap

they read in a book .. and believing they lived such experiences. This

also holds true for those who claim that all Hydrosols should be clear,

etc. That is total Bull Shit! When a Hydrosol exits that still it is

sterile .. but it has microscopic particles of plant material in it. A

professional distiller will filter the Hydrosol prior to placing it in

barrels .. mine do. But even then, after it sits in that barrel a while

some remaining particles will settle to the bottom .. if one pours any

Hydrosol into a clear glass jug they will be able to see this after a

certain amount of time. We filter our Hydrosols just prior to bottling

and shipping .. each and every time for each and every order.

 

If one has a totally clear Hydrosol .. it means that the Hydrosol either

was cohobated TWO times .. or it was cut deeply with distilled water ..

or both. So .. hope you don't run into any crystal clear Hydrosols.
