Guest guest
Olá Ane, > Oh, Butch, thanks a lot for the information. My pleasure for sure. :-P > In my trip to Turkey you'll be faithfully remembered as I'm > going to print your words and read them in every resting place. Good it is and thanks .. but I doubt you'll have much chance to rest during the trip. ;-) > Anyway, you didn't tell me where to find EOs, but many of the oil > we purchase here in Brasil are from Turkey. Great .. I have a number of wholesale customers in Brazil. ;-) > So I might as well put my big Turkish nose into action, take a whiff > in the middle of those 4000 spice shops and get some decent oils. Good luck .. you will enjoy the Spice Bazaar in Istanbul .. if your group goes there. Even on my street in Ankara we have three natural foods shops .. the spices and such are in barrels .. we purchase them by the gram/kilo. > I do not buy from your hydrosol now because I don't have any money, > as I'm saving for the trip, but I know I'll buy from next batch. Fair it is .. your excuse is a good one .. so its acceptable. ;-) > I'm from a shopping list of soapmakers and we are all mad about good > essential oils and hydrossols. Good it is. > If you have a catalogue or something like that, I'd be really glad to > help selling your stuff here. Thank you much .. its in your hands now .. it was sent via e-mail prior to me sending this message. :-P > And, if by any chance you want to buy things from Brasil (we are making > a vegetable oil list now - with delicious butters, like mango, copuaçu, > babaçu, murumuru, shea, coconut and palm) I'd be glad to help out. Sounds very interesting. We'll talk about it when you return from Turkey and when I return from Russia. :-) > As for the thieves, I was born in São Paulo, which is second in street > violence after Rio de Janeiro. I am going to try to be clever in the > market not to get stolen. That's all you have to do .. be aware and remain vigilant. > And as for bargain... wellllllllll.... I always do... a lot. Hawhawhaw. ;-) Me too .. even in the USA. Americans will bargain for a car or a home .. but very few think its a norm to bargain for other things .. like white goods (refrigerators, washers, dryers, etc.), but its not unusual to do this and there is a margin of " give " for discounts on such items. Here in Turkey, folks bargain for everything .. they even bargain with dentists and such before treatment. ;-) > Many thanks, > Ane* My pleasure for sure .. tenha uma viagem segura e feliz à Turquia. And y'all keep smiling. :-) Butch http://www.AV-AT.com
