Guest guest
The list mom is in no way responsible for any of the following, although she's mightily involved. Oh, no financial bennies her way, either ;-) It's been about two months since I ran this " ad " so I figure it's time again. My 1000+ shares many members here on oil-herbs-etc. It's a natural progression for those who are interested in scenting their products with only natural fragrances, or making natural perfumes. If you love the essential oils and absolutes and concretes and floral waxes, you may like to join us cousins: I run the group a little tighter than here, we don't chat so much, but we're really friendly. Several top-notch aromatherapist are on my group, and the archives rock -- they're so full of information! Many have told me that they spend months going through the archives because they find it's like a education in natural perfumery for free. That's why I've always kept the chat down, not to stifle friendships, but to make the archives workable as an educational tool. We're all chatty in private emails, so that makes up for it ;-) Natural Perfumery is hard. There, I've said it. Not as easy as aromatherapy by any means. A completely different art, with its own set of rules and procedures. I'm talking about when you want to create a perfume for sale. Very demanding. However -- let it be known it's a lot easier to create a simpler natural perfume to scent bath and body toiletries, so that's why I'm inviting y'all over here. We also have a Guild that is growing in numbers and visibility in the " real world " . There is a fee to join that, and there are lots of benefits. We have a category for Associate that invites the toiletries folks, or potpourri makers on board. If you scent your products naturally, you may consider joining the Guild. We're about to launch a publicity campaign and also work our contacts at major magazines in the health and beauty fields. Here's the Guild: http://www.artisannaturalperfumers.org/ (check out the member's list -- you'll recognize names) and here's the commercial face of the Guild: http://naturalperfumery.com/index.htm The soapers on this list may have seen a recent interview with me in Saponifier magazine (sorry, but you must be a r to read the magazine). I talk about how the natural fragrance field is growing, and how Associates are vital in the body care field: http://www.saponifier.net/ So I'm just throwing a lot of options out to y'all that use natural aromatics -- the to chat or lurk and study, or the Guild to network and promote your products. Hope to meet and greet some of our oils-herbs-etc cousins along the way! http://anyasgarden.com/perfumes.htm Parfums Natural http://artisannaturalperfumers.com The Artisan Natural Perfumers Guild http://naturalperfumery.com The Premier Natural Perfume Site Gateway
