Hi Tamara,

You can find out anything you want to know

about Young Living at http://aromaticsage.com

As for this friend 'looking for a distributor':

this is MLM. They are ALWAYS looking for

distributors.

I utterly detest the hype, false promises, and

emphasis on " recruiting business builders " that

still plagues this distribution system.

For the record: I love the industry, belong to two

companies as an active distributor, and buy products

from a third just because I like them.

But I simply present products that I love and use

myself. None of this get rich through residual income

nonsense.

Like any home-based business, direct sales is WORK.

I know people here in town who swear by YL and

whose health did indeed greatly improve by using

the oils.

From people in the know who used to belong to

YL at a high level I hear that the quality of the oils

varies widely.

Some are good to excellent, others are adulterated,

and Gary Young has an ego too big for its breeches

and is certainly no doctor.

I just think she's using a book discussion group to recruit people.

Bad form, unless it comes up organically so to speak.

A book club is a place to meet people, but there is

always a fine line between conversationally sharing

what works in your life, and abusing a circle with

seller stuff.

I won't be one of them, but another person in the group expressed

interest. If there is a really good reason to pull her aside and explain

why that might not be such a good idea, I'll do it.

Read Aromatic Sage, :).

If you like the YL woman enough, ask her to google

this name: Kim Klaver.

That woman does a fabulous job teaching MLM etiquette,

and ways to do your job without alienating friends and family.

Of course, I think she should switch companies, but

I have been educated here, lol.

Happy reading, I am off to my own book club!
