Guest guest
Hi Marsha- The heart is something that I personally don't think should be messed with especially with the symptoms that you are describing. It sounds like you could have PSVT...a rapid heart rate that can be serious especially if it is not treated promptly. I am very careful to recommend alternative therapies because while the body is an incredible machine, it still needs taking care of. Not knowing anything about your life style, habits, etc, it would not be very good to recommend anything without knowing more about you. There are many excellent herbal preparations and things that are very beneficial to the heart, however all things in moderation. I certainly understand the cost of getting allopathic treatment especially without insurance. However, my suggestion would be that if you are having a heart rate that high, you need to get the nearest Emergency Department and get treatment. By law, you cannot be denied treatment regardless of your ability to pay. Probably not what you wanted to hear, but I tend to be conservative when recommending things to others. Good luck! Guest guest
Hi Marsha, A fast pulse (Heart rate) and high temperature can be a sign of infection. I would advise you to take your temperature reading and if it is high you would be advised to seek further advice. In the meantime drink lots of water. I hope you feel better soon. Guest guest
Hello Marsha, It is a well known fact that meditation will help you lower your heart rate.Overall it is extremely healthy for your whole body.It is worth taking the time for your health to try it. You have nothing to loose, and it costs nothing. Colleen D Marsha said: Hi, I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for slowing down a fast heart rate. Guest guest
You have not really given us enough info to have a thought - age, weight, physical condition, etc. If you are talking blood pressure, Hawthorne is known to control it. If you are talking, heartbeat - see a doctor any doctor- county free health, hospital or private. Decide whether your life is worth owning a doctor a fee. The symptoms you are describing are scary and dangerous to your health. You may have a blockage and serious heart problems. Remember what your life is worth. Guest guest
Marsha It sounds like a vist to your MD might be in order. Do try a simple bearing down to stimulate the vaso-vagal response. That is one of the usual recommendations for some premature atrial heart beats. It's not going to hurt you and it may just help you. This the bearing down of having a baby or having a good bm. Guest guest
I wanted to share what I have done when my heart rate has gone up like that. Once I had a horrible experience in my sleep which further helped me to understand my need to drop some weight...that is what has cured me thus far. But when this would happen BEFORE I lost weight, I used motherwort and dandelion tincture and it worked like a charr to calm things down. I may have had to take 2-3 droppers before it would normalize but it would. Are you menopausal by chance? Things like that can happen to a woman in menopause and sometimes is jsut one of those things that happens without concern until things balance out. The negative side of that is that women do suffer heart disease after menooause as well so it does not hurt to get it checked out. Healthy blessings to you! Let us knoo what happens, ok:) Kristena Roder http://www.dreamseeds.org
