Guest guest
I don't want to be disagreeable but I once had thyme fly into my eye and it was so painful I ran to the sink and tried an eyewash. It continued to burn/sting so I grabbed olive oil and put it on my eye (not sure how). It worked. This could be an isolated incident. Guest guest
Yo Kathleen, > I know, I know I KNOW! I always flush with water. BUT, last > week my son knuckled Tea tree into his eye (my ten year old) > and was screaming. I did " dilute " it real quick with milk, > which stopped the pain long enough for him to get up to and > to hang over the sink so I could flush. I reckon its like they say .. " Any old port in a storm " . ;-) > That's the ONLY time I have ever used milk. It was just a > temporary quick solution so I could get down to the real job > of flushing. And to stop the little monster from screaming. Or .. " Necessity is the Mother of Invention. " ;-) > Bad advice! Mea Culpa. What can I say, I'm an idiot. Not an idiot .. you are tired and your fingers were working faster than you institutional memory. ;-) > Got my order. Yumsville. Thanks mucho! Oh! Loved the nutmeg > sample. That's next on my list. Good it is and happy I am. :-) We used some Nutmeg and some Clove Oil in early September to bake a ham I bought in a Virginia Farmer's Market. I mixed up a sauce with heavy Brown Sugar and mixed the oils in it .. kept slathering it over the ham whilst it was baking. Larpin' Gud it was too. Did y'all know that one of the major ingredients needed to successfully bake a ham is a plentiful supply of Moldavian Wine. Not for the ham .. for the cook. ;-) > K Y'all have a good one .. and keep smiling. :-) Butch http://www.AV-AT.com >>Rose Hydrosol direct to the eyes to knock crap out of Conjunctivitis >>(Pink Eye).
