Guest guest
Hi everyone.... just getting back into the world of email groups after a little break over the summer. A friend of mine has a young cocker spaniel who has just developed a cherry eye. Has anyone heard of a herbal remedy to treat this? According to web searches, it appears that her dog is facing surgery. Any help much appreciated! TIA Shelley
Guest guest
Hi Shelley, My son bought a dog years ago. She was about 2 or 3 yrs. She had a cherry eye. We spent about a year trying to find some other way to get rid of it. She finally had surgery. Sure improved her looks. Sorry I can't be of more help. Guest guest
Shelly, Sorry to hear about your friends dog. I have raised cockers for 25 years and have been very lucky with cherry eyes. I have gently massaged them back into place a few times and have not ever had to have the dogs have surgery. But, with that said and not seeing the dog the best bet is to take him to the vet to see what they say.Call a few cocker breaders in your town and maybe they could help also. Good luck Candi Fairy Dust Creations A friend of mine has a young cocker > spaniel who has just developed a cherry eye.
