Guest guest
Sometimes folk say some really interesting things. This comment was one of them. Just passing it along as things are rather quiet and I didn't think anyone would REALLY mind. " I don't know about RDT but wanted to comment on the 'plague spread by fleas' remark... while fleas were found to be the vector for Bubonic Plague, the microorganism could then be spread person-to-person by respiratory droplets (pneumonic plague). Many scientists and historians believe the Black Death was an incidence of plague, with a strong presence of the more contagious pneumonic and septicemic varieties increasing the pace of infection, spreading the disease deep into inland areas of the continents. " Now I have to go and see what the flea comment was. I've forgotten. -- Cheers!
