Guest guest
> He is classified as " High functioning " . Basically those with Aspergers TEND to be Highly Intelligent but Socially inept. ********** Kathleen, My son has Asperger's and I seem to have always had a mild form of it due to my odd abilities. There is a genetic predisposition to it. Also, what he eats and uses... is important too. When he gets sugar and artificial colors/colors... at school or elsewhere because they forget his rescrictions, it REALLY has a dramatic effect on him. This is a major reason I am an organic gardener and only use organic herbs/flowers/veggies... in our foods/soaps... . The other reason is that we have Marfan's or Ehler's Danlos - a genetic connective tissue disorder. My brother died at age 30 from this. I am 44 and am being VERY careful. I want my 3 kids to have a full life so I am as careful as possible. Sorry I rambled on, Diana Diana's in Hubbard, Ohio http://www.Dianascraft-antiqueshop.4t.com

Guest guest
The reason why is because 10% of the children who get the vacination are not immunized. With the 2nd vacination a further 2 to 3% MAY become immunized or at least partially immunized and with the third shot they hope to increase that number. So basically 90% are getting a shot not needed. Some folk will argue that the Rubella needs to be updated in the teens as the immunization's potency has decreased. My position on this is... and it's my opinion and mine only, let the kids get it in childhood. It's mildly uncomfortable and the girls end up not having to worry about it when they're pregnant later. Or if you're worried about it get the Rubella shot on it's own. AND if my kids are one of the few NOT to be immunized first time, odds are it ain't going to happen, so that's one of the reasons I don't have my gets get all three. Like I said, these are my reasons. Other people have excellent reasons for getting the innoculations and others have other reasons for NOT getting them.
