Guest guest
I've always said that if you want to test someone's character, give them power or money. It always disappoints me when someone happens to be fortunate enough to earn (or get) a lot of money and to see them handle their new found fortunes badly. I do believe what comes around goes around (karma). And, being from Texas, I've seen very wealthy people fall (because of oil markets and such) and either give up, or pick themselves up and continue on. Maybe in a lesser situation, but keep on going, nonetheless. I live in the country -- there's no garbage pick up. I take my trash to the county dump. I'm on a first-name basis with all the fellows that work there. Regardless of what someone does I'm respectful, as long as they are respectful in return. It has to do with mutual maintenance of dignity - regardless of what you're doing for a living -- you are making a living. Dede
Guest guest
This is a nice comment. My brother recently had a bad (small) snicker when he found out how much I made at a recent market. I thought it was quite a nice income especially for it only being 3 hrs 1 day a week for only 6 months. It was not like I am working a full time job 8 hrs a day. Well he is working 50 hrs plus a week and can quite easily make much more. Each business is what a person makes of it and don't condem the next person for giving it a try to make a go of it.
