Guest guest
Hi Sharon, > actually this is just a test to see what you are talking > about with the bouncing????? it is 1:20 am in Calif. Is > it that the words do not settle fast when you open the > email??? I think I notice this Naaa .. a " bounce " means .. your server sends the email back to you and tells you (with a lotta excess wording) that the recipient of the mail did not get it and they are not going to keep trying to send it. This one you are reading now .. it bounced back to me .. it read: This is the qmail-send program at superonline.com. I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses. : Connected to 66.218.66.167 but connection died. (#4.4.2) I'm not going to try again; this message has been in the queue too long. This is the second time I have sent this message. But your mail came through OK .. sometimes they don't. Y'all keep smiling. :-) Butch http://www.AV-AT.com
Guest guest
I've been bouncing all over but I thought it was because Comcast in my neighborhood was hijacked by Time/Warner--so now I have a new provider and a Roadrunner email account which, unlike its namesake, doesn't seem to be either very fast or particularly clever. But you say 's having problems, as well? Oh, yippee. I'm upset. Comcast had finally ironed out a lot of its bugs (ha ha...'Bugs') and I was enjoying fairly decent service for once, when Time/Warner came along and took over. I had no choice in the matter (other than to opt out of cable service, but the only other thing available here is dial-up) so now my internet, email, and television are all " skwewy, " as Elmer Fudd, mouthpiece for Time/Warner's CEO, would say if he still gave interviews. And something else--Verizon has been tearing up our s-s-street and d-d-driveways for weeks (the jackhammer's getting to me) but we never actually see what they're p-p-utting underground. It's a conspiwacy. They know I support Net Neutwawity.... jaime,CA
