Guest guest
Crap .. tell me a server that doesn't have lots of spam. I think they are just flat out discriminating because Superonline is from a Moslem country. ;-) ====Nah...I get that too, and I'm in Podunk, Kentucky. Susan H. Guest guest
Here is a question for all you net-savvy folk: I am used to getting tons of canned meat' especially to the domain name email. ien is on my business cards or I would have ditched it years ago. But recently I started getting emails that show my regular address has been used to send other people's Sp@m. This really upsets me. Is there anything one can do about it? Guest guest
Hey Jaime .. other good folks .. I get daily orders from all the servers .. the WORST for bouncing back to me are: 1. Aol 2. 3. Roadrunner .. plus it not only bounces but often refuses to allow my server to send mail .. their security section claimed once that there were many spam messages from Superonline (my server). Crap .. tell me a server that doesn't have lots of spam. I think they are just flat out discriminating because Superonline is from a Moslem country. ;-) Many is the time a person will order .. I confirm and send it back .. it bounces and the server says no such number .. I send it to my folks in MD and they forward it .. and its received. Comcast is one of the best for NOT bouncing my mail. ALL servers suck when it comes to determining what is spam .. and one of the worst is the one my company in MD uses .. Qcol.net. That one thinks its smart enough to " grade " email and determine what is spam. When one is getting orders from folks in 88 countries and all of them are not using English keyboards .. its impossible to determine what is spam. A customer types in their name followed by <whatever and it comes out as $ & @^% & # <whatever The solution to this problem is (to me) Mail Washer .. its freeware and allows a human being to make decisions rather than a system. I like my Superonline server .. its fast, inexpensive and dependable. Just what one should expect from a servers in Emerging Market Countries if they are working harder to be #1. I'll see if this follows true soon because 2 weeks from now I will be using a Russian server ( yandex.ru ) for 2 months. ;-) Y'all keep bouncing .. errr .. smiling. ;-) Butch http://www.AV-AT.com > I've been bouncing all over but I thought it was because Comcast in my > neighborhood was hijacked by Time/Warner--so now I have a new provider > and a Roadrunner email account which, unlike its namesake, doesn't seem > to be either very fast or particularly clever.
