OT: Old Man Winter

I know some of you guys have had snow flurries already. Just thought I’d

let you know it’s cooling off here, too. It was only 80° today. 88°

yesterday, 93° the day before. So winter will be here any day.

Dave, my husbands favorite line is, when the weather finally turns cold here

he'll have to switch to the thicker t-shirts. We both wear shorts year

'round...even when it's raining. We're also Southern California-ites.

[Dave:] Hee, hee. When I lived in Dallas I drove a truck for FedEx. A lot

of the couriers had a macho thing going, to see who’d be the last to put on

long pants in the winter. I’d be good down to about freezing, but some of

those guys never did.
