Silk In Soap

We use liquid silk aminos in our lotions and creams.

IMHO it's way to expensive to use in CP soap.

Have been using Tussah Silk Fibers for forever.

I put some silk in the lye, but sometimes I get som undesirable threads.

Ugly. How can I get rid of this? Only chucking them out?

Would you mind telling me how and when to use silk?

You don't need much silk for a batch of soap, a pinch will do a 3 lb

batch... add it to the lye water right after you add the lye to the

water. What type of silk are you using? If you are using natural,

unbleached or treated silk fabric.. try snipping the bits into finer pieces.

I put bits of fabric. many are colored ones. But I've got the message I was

putting too much silk /:> ))
