Do Not Call Cell website & phone number registery~OT

Hi Folks:

 

Received this yesterday: Only 11 days left from today before all cell numbers

are available/given to Telemarketers. Here is the number to call from your cell

phone to put you on the Do Not Call list: 888-383-1222 This has to be done

from each and every cell phone. Only takes about 30 seconds to one minute. Or

you can go to the web site: www.donotcall.gov This will only be good for 5

years and will need to be done again then. Telemarketers will still have 31

days that they can call you, after that, you can report them at the same number

or the web site to be penalized for calling you.

 

If this number is anything like the home phone number registry, they closed it

down and did not accept calls after several days due to million of folks

registering, so be sure to call in soon.

 

Why take the verbal abuse and pay for the call too? Be sure to call and

register your cell number.

 

This is legit, I called it last night.

PS Did you receive a bunch of political calls for the past election? Hint:

Call your local election office to see if your voter registration card/file has

your phone number on it. If so, ask them to take off your phone number.

Evidently, it's public record if phone number is on there. Did this after a

previous election and sure nuff, Stan's had our phone number on it. We've never

received another call since taking it off.
