Belated Thanksgiving Well Wishes and New Group Moderators

Hi Folks,

 

I hope everyone (in the US) had a great Thanksgiving and is either

enjoying or preparing to enjoy a fantastic weekend.

 

We have several new moderators on the list now and a few of our long

time mods back able to help too!

 

I still plan on personally writing all who offered their services in

this area, I've just been wrapped up in ... well .... life!

 

Having the list help is a good thing since I've honestly fallen behind

on some list maintenance including ... taking care of folks who have

been on the list for a while but are still on moderation cause they

never got taken off the initial auto new member moderation status.

 

Also, we're working on setting and maintaining certain netiquette

standards for this list. I'm a pretty mellow list mom, but I also expect

us to converse like civilized adults who have courtesy and respect for

others. This list has been a nice place to learn and share for over 5

years now. I will not have it go the way of IDMA (and everyone who was

on IDMA knows exactly what I am talking about).

 

So, that being said - I don't want to see any more " pissy " notes on

here! I am telling everyone to bury any recent hatchets here TODAY and

give thanks for what we have, including lists like this one and the

folks on them, because there has never been more opportunity in the

history of our civilization to meet people from far and wide and learn

something from their presence.
