Guest guest
Hi everyone, I'm teaching a course of 10 aromatherapy lessons, and next week is the last lesson. I'd like to give my students something sweet as a good-bye gift, like cookies, cake or candy which I made with EO's or hydrolats. I only have a recipe for marzipan, but I was wondering: does any of you have other nice recipes for making sweets with save-to-use EO's or hydrolats? If so: please share :-) Love, Saskia In Belgium
Guest guest
Hi Saskia, Amongst others, I have a recipe for Orange Fudge Truffles in the Aromatic Sage Mag. Archives: http://www.aromaticsage.com/mom1.htm Also, here is my recipe for Rose Petal Jam cookies 2 sticks unsalted organic butter, softened ½ cup granulated golden unrefined sugar 1 large free range egg 1 Tbsp. grated organic lemon peel (zest) 1 Tbsp. fresh organic lemon juice ¼ tsp. unrefined salt 2 ½ cups unbleached all purpose flour 6 Tbsp. Rose Petal Jam Preheat oven to 350°. With an electric mixer cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg, lemon zest, lemon juice and salt. Stir in 2 cups of flour to being with and then add flour a little at a time if needed to make a firm dough that holds together. Form into 36 1 " balls. Place cookie dough balls, about 1 inch apart, onto a cookie sheet that has either been greased or lined with parchment paper. Using a finger tip or a deeply rounded measuring spoon, make a deep dent in each cookie. Fill with 1 tsp. jam. Bake until cookie is firm and lightly browned, about 20 minutes, turning cookie tray around half way through baking. Enjoy! I have a Rose Jam Muffins recipe I have to get posted too! *Smile* Chris (list mom) http://www.alittleolfactory.com Hi everyone, I'm teaching a course of 10 aromatherapy lessons, and next week is the last lesson.
