Guest guest
I have a friend over there who has carpal tunnel syndrome, and besides B-6, magnesium, massage, rest, ice and a brace, I'd like her to use a comfrey poultice. Seems that comfrey is banned in the UK. Wondering if anybody has any that they've grown and can share it? It'll get to her faster than my getting some and shipping it. We're all in this to help each other, so I thought a request here might speed things along towards a speedy recovery for her :-) Anya McCoy of Natural Perfume http://anyasgarden.com Artisan Natural Perfumers Guild http://artisannaturalperfumers.org Natural Perfumers Community Group

Guest guest
There is quite alot of info in the archives I believe on the subject of comfrey, if you google comfrey, you will find out more as well... Comfrey leaf is not nearly as good as the root for the healing and anti-inflammatory properties that you want to get from using it. 1 tsp or 5 ml heaping powdered comfrey, mixed in enough virgin olive oil to make a smooth paste, and double the amount of very hot water to make a goop to put onto the affected joint, covered with cloth overnight. Its quite amazing how well it works. Shelley who suffers from chronic tendinitis.
