Guest guest
So, I've decided that instead of reinstalling Outlook which has gone wonky on me, I'd try Mozilla's Thunderbird for e-mail, since I SO prefer Mozilla's Firefox browser to IE .... wish me luck - this is my first message out ... ! :-D *Smile* Chris (list mom) http://www.alittleolfactory.com

Guest guest
I made the switch months ago... Honestly, I actually like Outlook (not Outlook Express) but Thunderbird is a fantastic personal user email client, especially if you add in the Lightning add-on. Don't use the Calendar add-on, it is a dead project. The Lightning project is reworking the Sunbird/Calendar code from the ground up to be more tightly integrated with Thunderbird. Thunderbird still has some things missing that are in Outlook, but it is a great replacement unless you need enterprise class PIM, which most uf us don't. Thunderbird with Lightning is a great personal/small biz PIM. (Personal Information Manager) Be well! So far so good, except that it imported all my old e-mails in plain text, but it is receiving html mail now, so its not a big deal. Anya would love it cause its default seems to be bottom posting for replies! *lol* Andrew, my hubby is all into the PIM end of Outlook, so he'd hate it, but I am just looking for e-mail, so I'm liking it! As I use it more I'll let y'all know if it has " issues " *Smile* Chris (list mom) http://www.alittleolfactory.com
