I need to come to an understanding that miniscule (imho) portions of fresh

and natural foods are all that's required to keep a person energized and

healthy.

=======I can tell you what helps me more than any other one thing -- eating

small meals several times a day. I try to eat five to six times a day, and

each meal is small -- half a chicken breast and some broccoli, a bowl of

steamed cabbage, an apple with some cheese, cottage cheese and a tomato --

all the things that we typicaly thing of " part " of a meal or a snack become

a whole meal -- but I then eat every 3 hours.

I never allow myself to get hungry and I eat before I leave the house and if

I'm going to be out past mealtime, I take food with me.

It takes some thought and planning, but a simple thing like keeping fresh

salad and a bag of ready to eat raw vegetables in the refrigerator and ready

to put in a cooler can make a huge difference.

It helps me, and I haven't cut out all the good stuff. I still have treats,

but the truth is, I don't really crave them the same way. Not getting hungry

is the key for making this work for me.
