Would those of you who currently ship products internationally

give me your experience of the pros and cons please.

By pros and cons I am assuming you mean dealing with international

orders ... ?

 

Pros - great opportunities for doing business.

 

Cons - It takes a bit more time and effort. You have to pay careful

attention to various countries' rules, including their differing

contraband restrictions. You also have to become aware of the common

order scams and use your spidey senses too. Remember, never accept an

order to or from Nigeria, especially if they want to use a credit card.

Hi,

 

You do need to be aware of customs requirements in the countries you export to.

For example Korea and Japan have some rather odd rules about " natural "

ingredients.

 

I do not take credit cards for any overseas orders - ask them to send a bank

draft, or bank transfer Another common scam is to take a credit card for a

large order, and then the customer refutes the order and has it reversed and

you are out the money.
