Guest guest
Carmen, You are not making tinctures, you are making a herbal decoction. Tinctures are made by putting herbs in a menstruum of alcohol, glycerin or apple cider vinegar. You don't want to make a tea like that with delicate herb parts (i.e. leaves & flowers). For those you only want to steep them in water for a few minutes with a cover on top of the vessel. I'll beam another message to the group later about making tinctures .. but for the moment I have to run - I have soap tracing! *Smile* Chris (list mom) http://www.alittleolfactory.com
