Guest guest
Hello Everyone, I am new to the group. I am very excited to be apart of this group. I am in the process of starting my own business making skin and hair care products. I attended Australasian College of Health and Sciences, but did not finish the master herbalist program due to my heavy work load at my full time job. I am going back to the program, but in the mean time I would like to start a home base company making skin and hair care products. I have over 100 products and I want to guard myself from any future law suits. Even though my products are made from natural ingredients I can not control my customers reaction to the products. Everyone is different and will react differently to essential oils and natural oils. I have looked into ABMP, but I need to be certified to obtain insurance from them. Does anyone know of another agentcy or group I can get liability insurance from myself and products. Thanks for any future advise on this topic. Have you looked into the Handmade Toiletries network? They now offer liability insurance as a membership benefit, if your products are (I forget what %age) the actual toiletries, skin care items, etc, not raw materials to be used in products.
