Guest guest
Hiya Folks: HELP Anyone have experience with essential oils to diffuse for Anorexia? Offered to check around for a friend and supplier that is going thru a hard time with a teenaged daughter. Any thoughts, input would be most appreciated. Was thinking oils diffused would be a bit of a help, but my brain is mash about what would make a person hungry? Was thinking of the Citrus oils to be uplifting for her, but am drawing a blank on what to diffuse to make her want to eat. Feel free to contact me direct at either dsfrogger or highnoonscents Would appreciate any thoughts, experience with this topic. Thanks a bunch & have a most fragrant day, deb Looking for earth-friendly autos? Browse Top Cars by " Green Rating " at Autos' Green Center. Guest guest
Vanilla and Cinnamon. However... Anorexia is something that the girl needs counseling for. Just cause she's hungry doesn't mean she is going to eat, and if she does eat she may end up purging, and that's sometimes worse than just not eating. Guest guest
yes, by all means, please encourage your friend to seek professional intervention for anorexia...i worked in pediatrics for many years, and have seen many anorexics, and the behaviors they exhibit....there are no home remedies for this disorder...this is about distortion of the body image, and control over one's body, not about appetite...counseling and possible medical help are the only safe and reliable answers... doug , " Jennifer Janek-Markey " <pixieladie wrote: > > Vanilla and Cinnamon. Guest guest
Hi Deb, I think everyone that said the girl needs professional counseling is right on the mark. Now, in addition to that counseling you might suggest for her some oils that will not so much boost her appetite as boost her depressed head space and personal image. Think about uplifting oils. I find citrus oils to be very good for that - such as bergamot and lemon. Neroli blossom might be useful too as it helps ease anxieties, and eating disorders usually comes with lots of personal anxieties of one sort or another. Best of luck to her. *Smile* Chris (list mom) http://www.alittleolfactory.com Deborah Swanson wrote: > Hiya Folks: HELP > Anyone have experience with essential oils to diffuse for Anorexia?
