Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I would like to get my cousin a baby sling for her shower in a couple of weeks and I am wondering if any of you can help me. I loved my Hug-a-bub and I still use my Kozy Carrier all the time for my 2 year old. I think for my cousin, though, these would be too complicated and she would never use them. She is also very petite, so I was thinking a fitted one might work better for her. She was also thinking she didn't need one; that she would just carry her baby. Maybe she is right, but I sure love the hands-free option. Anyway, I was thinking of a fitted pouch sling (I read the baby wearing article in Mothering this month) and was wondering if anyone had any experience with one or any brand recommendations. I am considering the Hotsling or Mamma's Milk hidden adjustable carrier. Thanks for any and all advice! -- Debbie deb www.debrasrhapsody.com
Guest guest
I just LOVED LOVED LOVED my Maya Wrap! I used it ALL the time with both boys. I had tried some other varieties of slings and Snuglies that I got from folks and I found none of them to be nearly as comfortable, versatile and beautiful as my Maya Wrap! Even my ex and my DH used it occasionally, and comfortably too! Now keep in mind, I am 5'4 " and my ex is 6' and DH is 6'3 " . So there ya have it, my 2 cents! *Smile* Chris (list mom) http://www.alittleolfactory.com Debra McDuffee wrote: > Hi Everyone, > > I would like to get my cousin a baby sling for her shower in a couple of > weeks and I am wondering if any of you can help me. Guest guest
Try Annabear Babyware. I am getting a sling for my daughter and one for me for the new grandson that is coming in April. For older children, try the Playtex Hip Hugger. It will carry children from 12 to 40 pounds. www.AnnabearBabyware.com Hope this helps. Guest guest
Thanks Chris and Barb for the sling advice! I am actually going to try making one, my friend swears it is a straight seam and 20 minutes . . . we'll see! :-) -- Debbie deb www.debrasrhapsody.com
