Guest guest
Hi all! I am on no-mail because of computer problems (OutLook is frozen, using web-based takes forever when you live in dial-up country) but I thought of all you soap makers when this came in my inbox. Ingrid Naiman blows me away. She is a herbalist, writer, web master and medical astrologer. All things I would like to have been but just dabble in. Here she is: I wrote a nice essay about the history of soap on kitchendoctor.com: http://www.kitchendoctor.com/articles/soap.html It also addresses some of the environmental ethics of using non-detergent soaps. I believe that essential oils are more antimicrobial than most chemicals and they are far better for both our health and the health of the Planet. Many blessings, Ingrid Ien in the Kootenays http://freegreenliving.com
