As always, we welcome your >feedback at jalluredjallured (snipped rest of letter) I received a very thoughtful letter from Jeb Gleason Allured, the author of the P & F website letter posted here earlier today, regarding this polling matter. Both sides have to be heard from, and perhaps the word didn't get out to the IFRA folks originally, so they complained about the results, which is understandable. As an industry publication, Allured has to respond to both sides, which is very reasonable. They've asked for the poll to be extended, and it will be until March 5. You can't vote again if you voted previously, and the results of the first poll are being carried over into this poll, so it will be cumulative, not two separate polls. We need to have an effort to get the word out to those who haven't voted, so if you blog, or are on other groups, it would be a good thing to post about this. All in all -- it's going to help us " little guys " tremendously. It means we have become a burr in the side of the industry, enough that they're reacting, which they never did much before. By this I'm talking about Cropwatch, not the Guild, or NP, since we weren't even on the radar as a group of people with any power. Tony's http://cropwatch.org been fighting this all along, putting all his energy and I " m sure, money into the effort. With luck, the mainstream media, non-industry media will pick up on all this, and we'll be able to engage in a dialogue with the press. The poll is important, and public awareness is more important -- that's where I'm focusing my energy. I'd like to repeat that if anyone can forward the press release to their local media, with a follow up call, that helps. They may ignore us, but some of us are bound to get through. This needs a lot of energy and work before Global Harmonization hits here in the US in 2008, and it's great to see so many people now becoming involved.
