Guest guest
I came across a recipe to make rosewater which I tried and have a question. The procedure was to put rose petals in a pot with an oven-proof dish in the center of the pot. Fill the pot with enough water to cover the rose petals but not the dish. Place the pot lid, inverted, on the pot and boil the water then lower to a simmer. As the steam rises it hits the pot lid and the condensation then drips into the dish giving you rosewater. What I came away with was clear water that smelled nicely of roses. Is this rosewater or just rose-smelling regular water? Susan
