Guest guest
Hey y'all, On this company .... http://www.naturopatch.com/ A bit of follow up on my previous post .. in fact, these folks have ALMOST covered all the bases .. they are not lying in what they claim on their Q & A portion .. but they are intending to deceive. If you go to their FAQ at http://www.naturopatch.com/faq.php you can read each and every question and not once do they suggest absorption. In fact, at .. " How does Essential Oil Patch Therapy™ work? " .. they clearly state: " NATUROPATCH Essential Oil Patch works by aromatherapy to bring you the experience of wellness and balance through the senses. Aromatherapy utilizes the effect of aromas on the mind via the body's olfactory system. Smell is the only one of the five senses that goes directly to the brain without first being processed. It works through the limbic part of the brain, which controls our emotions, touch, smell, etc. and seeks to enhance mood. Inhalation combined with skin contact is the quickest way for essential oils to enter the body. As we breathe in, moist, warm air carries tiny molecules of essential oils through the nasal passages and, via the olfactory system, to the brain, immediately enhancing mood and optimizing a feeling of health and well-being. Inhalation of essential oils can thus bring about a positive approach to common complaints, including everyday stress, feeling down, aches and pains, or over tiredness, while also clearing a stuffy head. Aromatherapy is a wonderful holistic experience incorporating the mind, body, and spirit to help ease and relax on all levels. " UNQUOTE They are correct in that skin contact will speed up the ability to inhale because it will heat the oils and they will vaporize more rapidly. These people are NOT totally ignorant on this subject. And they make no claims of absorption on their brochure at this link http://www.naturopatch.com/NaturoFlyer2.pdf But then they step on it at http://www.naturopatch.com/retailers.php ... which is a " Sell Sheet " for retailers .. clicking there takes you to http://www.naturopatch.com/Nturo%20Sell%20Sheet.pdf where they have some false marketing. They claim in the right hand colum: " Readily absorbed into the skin. " So .. retailers get to tell it like it ain't .. and folks buy a patch so they can inhale the violatile molecules of the oil. Sounds like the " For The Record " information Young Living gives out in public vs the " Off The Record " pitch they give their " Independent Distributors " . ;-) Y'all keep smiling. :-) Butch http://www.AV-AT.com
