kids are funny**sort of OT

OT, but has to do with " smell " .

 

My kids, oh my, they never cease to bring a smile to my face. My oldest,

Tyler is my rebel, and has always been most challenging. Since birth, he

has displayed an increase in sensitivity to ...well, to senses. Touch,

Sound, Smell, Taste. If there is one of those that is really bugging him,

he will not be able to channel it out.

 

So, on with the story....

 

At Ulta store the other day (cosmetics store), and walking by fragrances

noticed Britney Spears has a new fragrance out, can't remember what it is

called, but it's in a beautiful dark blue bottle, has crystals and something

on it. gorgeous packaging! So I test it, and immediately my Tyler

remarks, that smells like cereal.

 

Cereal.

 

Cereal? Are you kidding? Where does he get cereal from that?

 

So, we're walking around, and he continues to comment, yeah, cereal, what

kind is that, he's trying to place what brand of cereal, and then my Shawn

agrees, yes, I smell it too, it smells like cereal! A couple moments later,

 

Fruit Loops! That's it, Mom, it smells like Fruit Loops. I smell it some

more, and by golly, they are right! It DOES smell just like Fruit Loops.

 

Oh, I howled in that store, laughing my butt off. Britney Spears expensive

new perfume smells like Fruit Loops. We laughed all day about that. Who

woulda thought? Instead of spending the $50, all I needed to do was smash

some fruit loops on my wrist.
