Guest guest
I've been reading and have been tempted to stick my spoon in but wondering if what I have to offer would be of any help at all. >sigh< still don't know and if this isn't what you have in mind, sorry. When mixing oils with keeping some sort of safety in mind, knowing the chemical makeup in mind is something that I've always kept in mind. In other words, I don't mix two ketone heavy oils together and I like my combos to balance. I don't use more than three oils, unless I'm making a perfume and mostly tend to stick to single oils. The only time I will blatantly disregard what an oil contains chemical wise is when making candles because I'm only concerned about fragrance. Now, I don't know if this will help, maybe, if not you, then someone else. The following link is up at Woobey World where I have some Aromatherapy information. Please keep in mind that this info was put up about 7 years ago and I haven't updated it. http://woobeyworld.com/AA-1.htm -- Cheers! Guest guest
I think your info is helpful. I think there are some people out there who don't consider or care about the eo components and just blend, blend, blend. I am no aromatherapist and have only been learning about eo's for a year or so but I see some sites and blending " recipes " and wonder why someone would put all those things together when a nice effect can be had with much fewer eo's. Thanks for the info, Susan , " Woobey Queen " <WoobeyQueen wrote: > > I've been reading and have been tempted to stick my spoon in but wondering > if what I have to offer would be of any help at all. >sigh< still don't know > and if this isn't what you have in mind, sorry. > > When mixing oils with keeping some sort of safety in mind, knowing the > chemical makeup in mind is something that I've always kept in mind.
