Guest guest
Hey, Liz! Thanks for the info on vitex and laminitis. (That was the last straw that Barbero suffered from.) We have a mare who has laminitis -- she's doing fairly well. I guess I'd have to find something other than vodka for tincturing it, though, huh? I've printed the info and will share with son and daughter-in-law. And no, one does not give horses any old thing -- they have far more delicate systems than people realize. Guest guest
I give my gelding, Dusty vitex to help support pituitary function (he is pre-cushiod). It also seems to help his hormone issues in the spring. Alot of geldings have hormone issues that go undiagnosed because they are .. . . geldings! Dusty has also had bouts of laminitis. With proper diet and hoof care, he is pain free and sound for whatever I chose to use him for. If you want more info, please email me and I'll provide it! It really is kinda on topic for this list though, most of the things I do to treat Dusty we all use for ourselves. I believe it's called natural living. Carrie edgetexlady <rbright wrote: Hey, Liz!
